Day 1: Tangier

This private tour with Morocco Culture Tours starts with comfortable transfer from your local hotel in Tangier. The driver will pick up you from aiport. We discover best places in city. Overnight in Tangier riad or hotel.

Day 2: Tangier - Tetouan - Chefchaouen

Today the driver will pick up you from your hotel and we drive you to Chefchaoun. We explore best of the Rif mountains , we enjoy excursion in medina of the blue city of Chefchaoun.  Overnight in Chefchaoun riad or hotel.

Day 3: Chefchaouen - Fes

11 day Atlas and Sahara Tour from Tangier continues towards Ouazan and we explore Volubilis to discover the Roman ruins. We continue to Meknes as former Imperial city where we visity the historical huge walls of the medina, Bab El Mansour and enjoy a visit of Moulay Ismail’s mausoleum. Then we will drive to Fes city where you will spend the night in riad.

Day 4: Fes city and medina excursion

Enjoy guided visit of Fes to the most ancient of the imperial cities. We visit medina, and the Golden Door to the Royal Palace. We will discover mosques and madrassas, and religious sites. After lunch we continue with a visit taneries and other best places in city including : City walls and gates, Tombs and mausoleums. Accommodation in riad.

Day 5: Fes - Ifran - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga desert

Today we visit Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Africa. The following people will be Azrou “The Rock”, people berberisco known for its handicrafts, carpets and wooden sculpture, after arrival in Midelt. The route continues by the Tizi Talghemt or neck of the Camel, to 1,907 meters of altitude. The relief is impressive, the mountains are completely nude. Arrival in Errachidia , then Erfoud and we continue to the famous sand dunes in Merzouga. Accommodation in a Kasbah with dinner.

Day 6: excursion in Merzouga desert

After breakfast we continue 11 day Atlas and Sahara Tour from Tangier and you’ll start exploring desert : Gnawa people in their village Khamlia, where you will learn about the Gnawa music and their lifestyle. . Afterwards, we’ll drive in Sahara desert area where we can meet nomad families still living under Berber tents which are made from wool of their animals. Today our lunch will be a local meal (Berber pizza) after that we will drive back to our Hotel where your camel will be waiting for you ,Guided by an experienced camel man . the camel ride takes about 1 hour and 30 min to arrive to the camp-where you will spend the night- in the middle of the highest sand dunes to enjoy the sunset and watch stars . The dinner will be served at the Sahara camp.

Day 7: Merzouga Desert - Todra - Dades Gorges

We wake up early to watch sunrise of Merzouga in the middle of the Sahara. Afterwards we are going to ride camels back to the hotel , take a relaxing shower and a breakfast before resuming our  tour towards Todgha Gorges one of the most spectacular canyons around the world passing by the beautiful size Valley. We will stop at the gorgeous, Dades gorges where  you will enjoy a traditional dinner and, spend the night at a local hotel.

Day 8: Dades Gorges - Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech

After breakfast in the hotel, you will travel through the road of thousand Kasbah , we’ll stop at Kalaat M’gouna, “the rose city”, to purchase the rosewater, which will make your linen smell good a long time after your trip is over. Continuing on to Skoura and the birds valley, you’ll visit the Kasbah Amridil, a well-preserved kasbah in this area after , we will be Afternoon in to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”.  We’ll continue our journey to visit the movie studios , then we visit Aït Ben Haddou old Kasbah (UNESCO as world heritage). Then we’ll continue towards Marrakech via the Atlas mountains pass the highest road pass in North Africa.

Day 9: Marrakech city excursion

The entire day is devoted to exploring Marrakech, as the second oldest Imperial city which has for centuries been an important stop for traders and travellers. Your tour will include the famous Jardin Majoralle, the Bahia Palace and the Saadian tombs. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, with its 66 metre high minaret dominating the centre of Marrakech.  In the afternoon visit Djemaa El Fna Square, the centre square of the medina which comes alive by sunset and through night with local storytellers, musicians, entertainers, snake charmers and the scent of delicious food being grilled over hot coals. Overnight in the city hotel.

Day 10: Marrakech - Casablanca  - Rabat

Today we continue our 11 day Atlas and Sahara Tour from Tangier and we travel to Casablanca : enjoy visit of the Hassan II Mosque, then Casablanca beach, the Justice Court and the Habous quarters. Then we continue to Rabat. Overnight in the city hotel.

Day 11: Rabat - Asilah - Tangier airport transfer

Today, we will visit the famous Mohammed V Mausoleum, Hassan Tower and enjoy a short break at the walled Kasbah of Oudaia.
