Day 1: Fes - Ifran - Azrou - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga

This private tour with Morocco Culture Tours starts with comfortable transfer from your local hotel in Fes. The driver will be waiting for you to travel to Ifrane, often known as Morocco's Switzerland, the forest of Azrou, where you can enjoy watching monkeys climb the cedars, and then proceed via the Middle Atlas mountains, the Ziz valley and its gorges, and Errachidia. We arrive at the Merzouga hotel for dinner and lodging.

Day 2: Merzouga - Khamlia - Rissani - Camel excursion

You will explore the desert region and the marvel that is the Erg Chebbi desert dunes. We will will make a circuit of the desert dunes where you will have the opportunity to see the the nomad’s way of life and the amazing changing contrasts of the of the desert. We will visit the black village of Khamlia to see the Gnawa musicians. We will have a traditional Berber pizza for lunch in the ancient capital of Rissani. In the afternoon we will ride the camels to see the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in the desert camp. We will have a traditional tagine dinner, drink delicious mint tea, listen to traditional berber music while watching the stars and the rising moon in the amazing Sahara desert.

Day 3: Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Dades valley

We'll get up early to catch the stunning sunrise over the dunes before returning to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. To get to Todra Gorges, we'll go through the palm-lined valleys of Tourog and Tinjdad. We'll walk through the Todra Gorges and eat lunch at a local restaurant before heading to our lodging in the Dades Gorges for dinner.

Day 4: Dades - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

After breakfast, we go along the path of the 'Thousand Kasbahs,' passing through the breathtaking Valley of the Roses, to the palm grove of Skoura, where the most famous kasbah of the area is located, and then to Ouarzazate Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. We'll use the Atlas Mountains to get to Marrakech. As the tour comes to a close, our driver will drop you off at your hotel.
