Morocco Tour itinerary for  4 day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert

Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - The valley of Roses - Dades Gorges

This private tour with Morocco Culture Tours starts with comfortable transfer from your local hotel in Marrakech. The driver will be waiting for you to take you to the Dadès Gorges. We go via the Tizi n'Tichka Atlas pass (2260m) to Telouet, a classic High Atlas Berber settlement, and enjoy a guided tour of the Kasbah of El Glaoui, former War Lord and Pasha of Marrakech. We continue on to Ait Benhaddou, a beautiful fortified hamlet that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site (ksour). We will enjoy lunch in Ait Benhaddou or Ouarzazate before continuing to Dadès Valley, where we will spend the night in a riad/hotel.

Day 2: Dades Gorges - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga (Camel ride & Night in the Desert)

After breakfast, you will meet your driver for the ride via the Anti-Atlas Mountains and the lunar scenery to Alnif. Continue your journey to Merzouga by passing via the Berber settlement of Tinghir and the Todra Gorges, a little village on the outskirts of the vast Sahara Desert. You'll pass through various Berber villages before stopping for lunch in either Tinjdad or Rissani. Meet your camel caravan and set off toward Erg Chebbi as the golden sun begins its slow drop over the dunes. Continue to Merzouga and spend the night in a hotel with dinner.

Today you will join the Berber camps in the center of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, which are the highest in North Africa. Experience the camel trip to your secluded desert camp. Enjoy dinner and an evening under the stars while listening to the beats of traditional tamtam drumming performed by local nomads. Overnight in the Sahara Desert: Campsite Breakfast, dinner, and a night in a desert camp were all included in the meal plan.

Day 3: Merzouga - Rissani - Alnif - Draa Valley - Agdz - Ouarzazate

Following breakfast, we will continue our journey to Ouarzazate. We will go for Rissani, which was originally known as Sijilmassa and is the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty, the current reigning family. This is a highly traditional Moroccan town, with the majority of the women veiled and the men hooded. We'll carry on to Agdz through Alnif and Tazarine before arriving in the fascinating Draa Valley at the edge of the Atlas Mountains, which is home to hundreds of Berber Kasbahs. We will travel through Agdz before arriving in Ouarzazate. Dinner and an overnight stay in a riad.

Day 4: Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech

After breakfast, our drive will take you through the magnificent Valley of Roses to Skoura, Morocco's largest oasis. After lunch in Ouarzazate, continue on into the High Atlas Mountains, where our driver will drop you off at your accommodation at the end of the tour.
