Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen - Fes

This private tour with Morocco Culture Tours starts with comfortable transfer from your local hotel in Tangier. The driver will be waiting for you to drive you towards Chefchaoun  via the Rif mountains to enjoy the views of the beautiful mountains till we get to the blue city of Chefchaoun, the heaven of the photography where you will get the first contact with Moroccan culture.  Today we drive towards Volubilis  crossing Ouazan and other Rif villages, in Volubilis  we will stop to discover  the Roman ruins  and learn about the archeological site of Moroccan history , after  the visit of the ruins we will shift our way to Meknes  city  the 17 th century heritage where we will stop  for lunch and  hang around the historical huge walls of the medina, Bab El Mansour and enjoy a visit of   Moulay Ismail’s mausoleum. Overnight in Fes hotel or riad.

Day 2: Fes city and medina excursion

After breakfast at the riad, we explore the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its alleys and narrow streets. The tour starts by a visit to the Royal Palace gate, then, to EL-Mellah (Jewish quarter), which is the first Mellah that was built in Morocco, and that was during the 16th century. We will ensure that you visit all the sites with cultural and historical interest, including the renowned Al-Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region; the tanneries; the Attarine museum and Mulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you will visit a tile cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes. Overnight in Fes hotel or riad.

Day 3: Fes - Ifran - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga desert

Today we pass through Ifrane (winter ski resort),then we drive across the Middle Atlas Mountains and most of the morning we will be spent enjoying the beautiful forests, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages we cross the Atlas Mountains. Then we stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and apples then we continue to Merzouga via Ziz Valley and Erfoud , the capital of the dates and we will be in Merzouga afternoon. Then you will ride a camel, guided by an experienced camel-man, and explore the hidden sides of the highest sand dunes in Morocco. Dinner will be served in front of the tent where you will spend the night.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert - Todra Gorges - Dades Gorges

We wake up early enough, the Sahara desert offers an amazing sunrise. Afterward, you’ll peacefully ride the camels back to your hotel in the edge of the dunes appreciate in the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes with first lights. After breakfast and shower, we will leave towards Todgha gorges well known as an important destination for rock climbers. The highest and narrow west gorges in Morocco, where we can do some walking before arriving at Dades Valley for dinner and accommodation.

Day 5: Dades Gorges - Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech

We will travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M'gouna and Ouarzazate. The way through Dades Valley is the Route of One Thousand Kasbahs - providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. For lunch, we will stop at Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, built by T-hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains during the beginning of the 20th Century. It used to be one of his stops during his long travel from the Sahara to Marrakech. Today the kasbah is recognized by the UNESCO as a world heritage site. After lunch, we will shift the way to cross the high Atlas Mountains, full of panoramic views and attractive Berber villages all along the way to Marrakech. The night is to be at a riad in the medina.

Day 6: Marrakech city excursion

Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Marrakech, one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco founded by Marrakech the Almoravid dynasty at the end of the 12th century and always an attraction for its unique history and culture. Our guide leads you to discover the most remarkable high lights of the city; Saadian Tombs, Menara, Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia mosque with its minaret, Bahia Palace, the Souks and the Djemaa el Fna Square. Free evening for different activities in the square. Night in the Riad.

Day 7: Marrakech airport transfer
